FAQ's

Can you cater small events?

We have a minimum of 40 people per event.

Do you travel out of the Bay of Plenty?

We are a mobile service and will charge travel costs according to the distance to get to the destination.

Can you cater for special dietary requirements?

We can cater to most dietary requirements (allergies, gluten intolerance, vegan, vegetarian, pescatarian). We need to be advised of any such requirement prior to the booking and a discussion will be had around this before any commitment can be made.

Do you prepare the food onsite?

Food by Wild Wood fire prepares and cooks all food onsite. The dough is made from scratch and pizzas are rolled minutes before they are cooked. The slow roast meat is cooked onsite for 7-8 hours on the day of your event.

How much space to you take at the venue?

We need a space of 5m by 5m and can be tucked out of sight as needed.

Do you provide crockery/utensils?

No, unfortunately we do not provide porcelain crockery/silver utensils. We can source biodegradable disposable plates/ utensils for an additional cost.

Do you require a power source?

We have a generator which we can take to remote locations for when there is no power.

Do you do dishes at the end of the night?

We will endeavour to rinse crockery if there are suitable facilities.

Do you take away any rubbish we have created?

Yes! We will take all rubbish away at the end of the night.
